After completing her Diploma in Education, she married young and embraced the role of a teacher. For two years, she taught elementary students, shaping little minds with patience and warmth.
But life had more in store. With her first child’s arrival, she chose to focus on family. Those early years, however, planted a seed: the realization that her journey would not be a straight line, but a canvas of reinvention.
A Bold Shift into Law
In 2006, when most would have settled into comfort, Shiitaal challenged herself to take on something new—law. She completed her LLB and then her LLM, diving headfirst into the complexities of the legal world. For years, she practiced law full-time, handling demanding criminal cases with fierce dedication.
But long hours, unrelenting stress, and time away from her loved ones weighed heavily. Despite her success, she knew this wasn’t her forever path. And that’s when her true calling resurfaced—something she had carried with her since the age of 11: stitching clothes.
Rekindling a Lifelong Passion
For decades, stitching had been more than just a hobby—it was therapy, creativity, and joy. In 2012, she asked herself a question: Why not turn this passion into something bigger?
What began as a small designer boutique in her apartment complex quickly grew, fueled by love from friends, neighbors, and loyal customers. Each creation wasn’t just fabric and thread—it was an extension of her spirit.
By 2015, her boutique had outgrown its humble beginnings. She took the leap and opened a larger store, officially stepping into the world of fashion entrepreneurship. Her designs caught attention, her brand flourished, and her customer base expanded rapidly.
